Om stillingeneUniversitetsmuseet er en del av UiT Norges arktiske universitet og driver forskning, formidling og innsamling av både naturhistorisk og kulturhistorisk materiale fra Nord-Norge. Universitetsmuseet er forvaltningsmyndighet for arkeologisk materiale nord for Rana kommune.
