We have as pr today 2 nephrology consultant positions, 3 junior doctors in training - nephrology registrar positions. There is as of now no organised dialysis oncall rotation.  There is an extensive  research activity  within nephrology,  in the department there are 2 doctors within the section who are undertaking a PhD. One is expected to be part of the joint internal medical take rotation and duties- oncall rotation. This is part of the job description.
